1. 收集和保存的数据 / Data we handle

• 账号：邮箱、内部用户编号、账号状态、邀请码使用情况。邮箱密码登录的密码以加盐 scrypt 散列保存，不保存明文密码。登录会话在服务器以令牌散列验证。
• Google 登录：选择 Google 登录或绑定时，申请 openid 和 email，处理 Google 账号标识、已验证邮箱及验证所需的身份信息。不会读取 Google 密码，也不申请 Gmail、Drive、联系人或 YouTube 账号管理权限。
• 学习内容：用于学习的视频 ID、标题、字幕或导入文字稿、时间戳、AI 推荐和翻译、Notebook 与个人备注、已知表达、学习偏好、用户输入的练习句子及 AI 反馈。
• 服务用量：账号关联的请求时间、用途、视频信息、模型及提供商、token 数、耗时、请求状态和错误信息。用量记录不另行保存完整 AI 提示词或模型原始响应。
• 本机存储：插件将 EnglishHelper 会话令牌、已选择的 Google 账号及自动登录选项保存在受信任扩展存储中；OAuth 临时状态保存在会话存储中。网页版本使用会话存储，字体偏好会在本机缓存。

We handle account email and identifiers, salted password hashes where applicable, Google subject/verified email for optional sign-in, selected video metadata and transcripts, learning preferences, saved notes, known vocabulary, practice text/feedback and operational usage records. The extension stores its session token and sign-in preferences locally; it does not store your Google password. Google sign-in requests only openid and email scopes. We do not collect unrelated browsing history, keystroke telemetry or advertising profiles.

2. 使用目的 / Why we use data

这些数据用于登录与账号隔离、读取相关视频语境、按英语等级及已知词库筛选表达、保存和回看笔记、提供造句点评，以及维持服务安全、排查错误和记录模型用量。普通用户只能通过账号接口访问自己的学习数据；管理员可管理账号、模型配置及服务用量。

我们不出售用户数据，不将学习内容用于个性化广告、信用评估或其他无关用途。我们不将 Google 登录信息用于训练通用 AI 模型；账号邮箱和 Google 登录令牌不属于发给语言模型的学习提示词。

Data is used for authentication, account-separated learning features, contextual recommendations, notes and review, sentence feedback, service security, troubleshooting and usage accounting. We do not sell user data or use it for personalized advertising, credit decisions or unrelated purposes. Google sign-in data is not used to train generalized AI models and is not included in learning prompts.

3. 服务器及 AI 处理方 / Hosting and AI providers

Render 托管当前云端学习服务，存储和处理上述账号及学习数据。网络请求也会向接收服务暴露 IP、浏览器等连接信息，基础设施可能处理必要的运行和安全日志。

当前共享 AI 服务使用 Anthropic Claude API。分析视频时，相关字幕、英语参考等级、所选学习范围和已知表达样本会从服务器发送给该 AI 服务；造句点评发送目标表达、释义、原句、用户造句及参考等级。AI 结果会用于显示或保存到学习账号中。

软件也支持由管理员配置 Google Gemini API 或 OpenAI / 兼容 API 服务。每次请求仅发送到当时配置的提供商；管理员更换实际数据接收方前，应更新本政策并告知用户。管理员的 API Key 和 OAuth Client Secret 在服务器加密保存，不发送给 YouTube 页面。

外部服务商对请求、日志及保留期限的处理还受其自身条款约束；我们不能承诺其一律即时删除或绝不保留 API 数据。若不希望发送学习内容给 AI，请不要启动分析或提交造句点评，并关闭自动分析。

Render hosts the cloud application and database. The current shared AI provider is Anthropic. Transcript excerpts, reference level, learning scopes and known-expression samples are sent for vocabulary analysis; practice requests include the target expression, source context and learner sentence. Google Gemini or an OpenAI-compatible endpoint can be configured instead. Only the configured provider receives a request. Provider changes require updated disclosures. Provider retention and processing follow the relevant provider's terms. Do not start analysis or submit practice if you do not wish to send this text to AI.

4. YouTube、语音和媒体 / Video and audio

插件访问 YouTube 以提供视频识别、字幕读取、原句回放和学习界面。备用文字稿读取及用户主动选择的 Whisper 视频音频转写，在学习服务器上运行，会向 YouTube 请求相应公开视频内容；临时音频在任务结束后清理。文字稿结果可能作为账号关联的缓存或分析数据保存。

当前版造句练习不录音、不请求麦克风权限，也不上传用户练习录音。如果你使用电脑听写或外部 Whisper 输入工具，该工具如何处理语音由其自身政策决定；EnglishHelper 接收输入框里的句子文字。

可选动物陪伴视频由服务端网页 iframe 嵌入，并使用 YouTube 播放器 API。该网页不接收 EnglishHelper 邮箱、笔记、已知词或会话令牌，不能访问扩展存储；消息仅用于媒体状态及暂停/恢复。YouTube 嵌入媒体可能按 Google 的政策处理连接信息、Cookie 和播放行为。

YouTube is accessed for video context, captions and source playback. On request, the server may temporarily obtain public video audio for local Whisper transcription, then remove temporary audio. Current sentence practice does not record your microphone or upload practice audio; external dictation tools have their own policies. Optional companion videos use a separate web iframe and YouTube's player API; the media iframe receives no EnglishHelper account or notebook data and has no extension-storage access. Google/YouTube may process embedded-media connection, cookie and playback data under their policies.

5. 保存期限与安全 / Retention and security

账号、笔记、已知词库、学习偏好、分析、练习和用量记录会为提供服务而保留，直到通过功能删除相应项目或由我们处理删除请求。文字稿缓存的复用有效期为 30 天；这个有效期不代表过期数据库记录会立即自动删除。

Google 登录会话有效期为 30 天，邮箱密码会话为 7 天。退出登录会撤销当前服务器会话并清除本机令牌；已保存的 Google 账号选择、字体等非令牌偏好可能仍留在本机，卸载插件可移除其扩展存储。OAuth 验证 Cookie 和临时登录票据最长约 10 分钟。

云端使用 HTTPS 传输、账号授权检查、密码散列以及服务器密钥加密。未授权用户无法经学习接口读取他人记录。开发者仅在用户明确授权的支持请求、调查安全问题或法律要求等必要情形人工访问相应内容；我们不声称任何系统能够保证绝对安全。

Account and learning records remain until deleted through supported controls or processed as a deletion request. Transcript-cache reuse expires after 30 days; expired rows are not automatically erased solely because that window elapsed. Google sessions last 30 days and password sessions seven days. Logout revokes the current session and clears its local token, while some non-token preferences may remain. OAuth verification cookies/tickets last up to about 10 minutes. We use HTTPS, authorization, password hashing and encrypted server secrets. Human access to content is restricted to authorized support, necessary security investigations or legal requirements.

6. 导出、删除和选择 / Your controls

你可以在插件中修改偏好、移除笔记和已知表达，并导出笔记、已知词库、偏好及造句练习记录。移除某个笔记会删除其练习历史，但不会同时删除其他已保存的分析、字幕缓存或用量记录。卸载插件不会自动删除服务器账号或云端数据。

如需删除账号、解除服务器上的 Google 绑定，或获取/删除其他账号关联数据，请使用账号邮箱发送请求至 marvin.gao.cs@gmail.com，说明要处理的范围。我们会先核实账号归属，再处理活动数据库中的相关数据；如有基础设施备份，副本可能随备份正常轮换清理，依法或为安全必须保留的有限信息除外。请不要在邮件里发送密码、API Key 或会话令牌。

你也可以在 Google 账号中撤销 EnglishHelper 的授权。撤销 Google 授权与删除 EnglishHelper 云端账号是不同操作，已有的 EnglishHelper 会话仍可能需要退出或联系管理员撤销。

You can edit preferences, remove notes/known expressions and export notes, vocabulary, preferences and practice history. Removing a note also removes its practice history, but not separate analysis, transcript or usage records. Uninstalling does not delete cloud data. Email us from your account address for account deletion, Google unlinking or other access/deletion requests; we verify ownership first. Active-database deletion and any backup rotation may differ, and limited records may be retained where legally or securely necessary. Never send passwords, API keys or session tokens. Revoking Google consent does not itself delete the EnglishHelper account or necessarily revoke existing EnglishHelper sessions.

7. Limited Use 与政策更新

EnglishHelper 对来自 Google API 的信息的使用遵守 Chrome Web Store User Data Policy，包括 Limited Use 要求。数据使用、传输及必要的服务运营仅限于已披露的英语学习功能。
